In 2001 Matt Davey founded Tekkorp Consulting Group to provide
professional management services to Internet Gaming operators and
suppliers. The company has established itself as a strong contributor
to the gaming industry and has worked with a number of the largest
system suppliers and operators.
Prior to starting up Tekkorp Consulting Group, Matt has been involved
in the Gaming & Wagering business since 1995 and has held various
senior positions with a government gaming and wagering regulator,
an Internet gaming system vendor and a game development company.
Matt joined the Technology Systems Division of the Northern Territory
Racing and Gaming Authority where he was heavily involved in all
aspects of establishing the first Interactive Gaming regulatory
framework in Australia. During this time Matt worked closely with
both Lasseters Casino as the operator and Access Gaming Systems
as the technology provider for an Internet Gaming System.
After working in the Chief Ministers department as Principal Policy
Officer for interactive technology Matt was offered a position as
Client Account Manager for Access Gaming Systems. In mid-2000 he
accepted the strategic position as VP of Technology for Next Generation
Gaming P/L. In this role Matt developed procedures and policies
for managing technology development and headed up a team of 30 to
engage new gaming system suppliers to integrate NGG products. Matt
worked with most notable Internet Gaming System vendors and operators,
and launched the development of a new 3D gaming technology.
Matt Davey holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,
is completing an EMBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management
and is a member of the Australian Institute of Managers. |
